Correction and context for the hate-crime figures discussed on air.
The October 12 clip refers to 'New York' figures, but the source is NYPD data for NEW YORK CITY, not statewide statistics. The official January-September 2026 report shows 245 anti-Jewish incidents among 463 confirmed citywide hate crimes (52.9%), not 244 as spoken. These preliminary figures require that correction when sharing the original excerpt.
