America’s Longinus Moment captures a nation standing before truth yet choosing blindness. The episode traces cultural decay, corruption, spiritual conflict, and the rising loneliness gripping America. It challenges listeners to stop reenacting the spear thrust and instead lead with faith, responsibility, and moral clarity.
Darkness does not conquer a nation when it first appears, but when people stop recognizing it.
Peter Vázquez takes listeners to the foot of the Cross, to the unnamed soldier who pierced Christ’s side, and uses that “Longinus moment” to reveal how America now stands in front of truth and still chooses blindness.
From Dearborn’s Sharia-aligned politics to California’s cultural collapse, from Epstein’s web of influence to Trump’s release of the files, the hour tracks how spiritual warfare shows up as policy, propaganda, and cultural decay.
Claims that “crime is down” crumble as domestic violence rises, fear intensifies, and families fall apart. A loneliness epidemic grips the young, while hotel homelessness and welfare fraud expose a system that rewards dependence and punishes responsibility.
Callers press difficult questions about Christ’s ascension, righteous duty, corrupt elites, and the growing threat of digital ID systems that feel like a dress rehearsal for Revelation 13.
A retired officer testifies to God’s grace in moments of danger. A major gift from Tom Golisano shows the difference between wealth that corrupts and wealth that serves.
Threaded through every moment is a single challenge: Will we keep thrusting the spear into truth, or finally let the blood and water open our eyes?
This is not a conversation for spectators. It is a call to stand firm in faith, defend the foundations of family and country, and lead with conviction in a culture determined to forget both.

Buenas tardes, ladies and gentlemen. What a week. It is Friday, it is warm outside, and God is good and He is always good. As we close the week before Thanksgiving, I want to speak about why the entire holiday season matters, why Jesus Christ said, “Mira, I am going to die on a cross for you,” and why we must confront the spiritual decay in our nation. Politics is the distraction, and while we fixate on it, they chip away at culture and identity. They told us they would attack from within, and that is exactly what we are living through now.
A nation is not lost when darkness rises, but when its people stop recognizing the darkness for what it is. I want to share a story many overlook. I often say it seems as if left-wing progressives and anti-American ideologues are working in perfect coordination. For a long time that seemed impossible. Then discernment hit me: corruption aligns itself spiritually. Evil speaks clearly.
Look at what is happening in places like California, or New York, or Dearborn. That Dearborn mayor stood against Christians and Muslims united to remove books harming their children. He invoked “freedom” to protect filth. Why? Because the evil influencing our leaders is aligned across culture, ideology, and policy. Many families in Dearborn have ties to Gaza, yet at the leadership level they advance ideas that harm their own. This is bigger than any single conflict. Cultural infiltration spreads because spiritual values have collapsed.
Some would argue it is not just spiritual decay. But I finally understood why all these individuals seem so coordinated. Scripture already explained it.
Let us go to the crucifixion. John 19:34 says: “One of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.” Tradition gave that soldier a name, Longinus, but Scripture leaves him unidentified. His anonymity is the point.
He stood at the foot of the Cross—before the ultimate Truth—and rejected it. He pierced Christ even as blood and water washed over him. His hardened heart became a symbol for every person who can see truth, hear truth, stand before truth… and still walk away.
America is full of Longinus moments.
A Pew report says 62% of Americans identify as Christian, but that stability is an illusion. It is a landslide slowed only because the cliff already gave way. Christianity declines in part because politics convinces people that government is bigger than faith. Catholicism would be in an even steeper decline if not for illegal immigration. Many denominations collapse because they leaned on politics instead of relationship with Christ. But non-denominational ministries grow because they focus on Christ, not doctrine or ideology.

Check this out: collapse begins when faith erodes, families fracture, truth is mocked, and corruption becomes routine.

Christianity and white men are being attacked because of “white privilege,” and many attackers are white liberal females. They do not even understand their own behavior. White liberal females will be the undoing of this country. Glenn Beck reported that one-third of Somali children in Minnesota are being claimed as autistic to exploit government systems. Americans are being taken advantage of because they refuse to wake up.
My question is about Jesus. Why, after resurrecting, did He ascend so quickly? Why did He not stay longer and personally build His Kingdom on earth?
Peter:
He had to die, resurrect, and ascend because every element of His story fulfills God’s plan. If Jesus simply died and walked away, the foundation of salvation would collapse. The unidentified soldier is relevant to that question—he looked at Truth, rejected it, and Scripture leaves him unnamed to warn us. Many today face the same decision. Law enforcement faces this in a modern form: “Do I obey orders blindly, or do I stand with truth?” Obedience without discernment makes Longinus out of anyone.
Caller: Rick, retired police officer
By grace we are saved through faith. Christ set aside His glory, lived a sinless life, and resurrected so we might be born again. Government is ordained by God, but its power must be exercised with virtue. Morals without virtue and liberty are nothing. Keep bringing faith into these conversations.
Peter:
Thank you, Rick.
Breaking news: Tom Golisano has committed $25 million to transform services for Mary Cariola. This is wealth used to lift communities, not control them. Money can go evil, like Epstein, or good, like Golisano. Government cannot heal hearts; it can only create policy, and most of that policy has harmed culture.
Before the break, I want to share a clip. When a Canadian independent rapper becomes the voice of working-class Christian America—of God, country, and family—you must ask what happened to the leaders and gatekeepers who were supposed to defend these values.

Today is World Hello Day. Smile and say hello to someone. And please pray for my stepmother, Cheryl Paltz, who is in the emergency room right now.

Christ ascended so the Holy Spirit could come. If He stayed physically, He could only be with some. Through the Spirit, He is with all believers, guiding them into truth.
Peter:
Thank you, Jeannie.
If technology connects us more than ever, why are young people drowning in isolation? Will we keep thrusting the spear into truth, or will we let the blood and water open our eyes?
I met a 17-year-old young woman last night from the heart of Rochester. She knew Frederick Douglass’s work, but not the philosophy behind it. Leaders claim, “Crime has plunged,” but domestic violence is soaring. If crime is truly down, why is fear rising?
Families are living in hotels because policy has destroyed cost-of-living and family structure. In 2024, hotel spending hit $172.6 million—enough to fund thousands of permanent units. Homeless families have doubled since 2022.
The USDA discovered that 29 states had 186,000 deceased individuals still receiving SNAP benefits. This is what happens when compassion becomes a political weapon.
Caller: Lorraine
The Commander in Chief is being threatened by members of Congress. It is sedition, and people must call their representatives.
Peter:
Thank you, Lorraine. You have decades of experience, and when we ignore those who lived through the decline, we repeat its mistakes.
Before we end, let us talk about the “efficiency movement.” Seventy-eight percent of UN member states now have digital ID laws. India’s Aadhaar holds biometric data for 1.3 billion people. Massive breaches happen regularly. Revelation 13 speaks of a day when no one can buy or sell without approval. I am not saying digital systems are the mark—but it feels like a dress rehearsal.
Hardening your heart is the first step.
Be a leader. Be a leader. Be a leader.
God bless these United States of America. Do not let a second go by where you are not a voice for libertad and truth.
